Foundation for Literature grant for ‘De kuur’

Early July Emily received a grant from the Dutch Foundation for Literature for the development of her second novel De kuur (the cure). The novel will be published next year by Querido Publishers. Annually the fund awards a scholarship to debut authors for their second book. From the website of the Foundation:

The third batch of selected debut authors has been announced. The Dutch Foundation for Literature invests in eight talented writers who have recently debuted. With the support of a scholarship, these authors can work on their second literary book. The eight talents were selected from a group of 26 authors in all literary genres.
