‘Vintage black & white photo’ of abandoned dog donated

The work Emily Kocken donated is one of the photographs she took with her Canon FTB camera in 2006 of a so-called ‘Friese Staander’ who was abandoned by his owners and stayed at the animal asylum in Hoorn. The work is to be seen at the exhibition and available at the auction for BaasGalgo held at restaurant 5.0 of Museum Schunck in Heerlen. One can bid on this work, as on the other hundreds of art works, that were donated for the auction held on 28 April.

Conservator Food Jeffrey Kuckelkorn of Schunck* and artist Pam Emmerik organize an exhibition, art auction and benefit dinner for the BaasGalgo foundation.
BaasGalgo is a shelter for abused, neglected and abandoned Spanish Galgos (greyhounds). More than 60 artists have created art work about galgos or donated work. T-shirts of Pam Emmerik are also for sale.
